NYLT
National Youth Leadership Training

Troop 12 recently had a few scouts attend NYLT. This is a week long camp about having fun and teaching scouts how to be better leaders. Troops can send as many people as they want but they must be thirteen or older and have first class. When you are there, you are put into your own separate patrols and mixed in with other Troops. There are presentations about improving leadership skills and they teach you about having good patrol systems in your troop, patrol bonding techniques and much more.

WOODBADGE
Adult Leadership Training

Wood Badge is an advanced, national leadership course open only to Scouting volunteers and professionals.

Scouters from Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, Varsity Scouting, Venturing, Sea Scouts, and Explorers, and district and council Scouters all are welcome and belong here.
